Job Details Job Location: ORL - Orlando, FL 32809 Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $26.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel GENERAL PURPOSE The Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for the advanced repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial laundry systems and facility equipment. This role includes leading maintenance projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring maximum equipment uptime and performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and model adherence to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on industrial laundry machinery and systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation issues Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, VFDs, and control panel components Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term reliability solutions Optimize and improve preventive maintenance procedures and documentation Manage or lead capital improvement projects and equipment installations Assist with parts sourcing, inventory planning, and vendor coordination Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians I and II Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager in planning and shift leadership Maintain thorough and accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job.
