YOUR EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

  • Degree or Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong background in maintenance engineering, reliability, or project delivery, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience implementing or managing a CMMS such as MEX, SAP PM, Pronto, or similar.
  • Knowledge and application of preventative and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Proven ability to scope, plan, and manage capital projects (typically
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

Come join us as an Industrial Maintenance Engineer, based at our Bendigo site. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract to assist with ramping up our industrial maintenance processes.
In this role, you’ll be helping our teams to uplift our Preventative Maintenance Systems to the next level. This role is critical in creating and embedding robust Preventative Maintenance (PM) strategies, establishing systems and processes and implementing a weekly maintenance plan. You will play a key part in improving asset reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and delivering capital projects and improvements across our operations.

Working at our Bendigo site, on Dja Dja Wurrung Land, your day to day responsibilities include:

  • Develop and improve our MEX CMMS based Planned Maintenance System
  • Create, document, and continuously improve preventative maintenance tasks, aligned with OEM recommendations and operational needs.
  • Support the Maintenance Planner to develop and roll out the necessary tools to implement a weekly maintenance schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximum asset uptime.
  • Lead and deliver capital projects from concept through to execution, including scope development, budgeting, contractor coordination, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure data integrity, asset criticality assessments, and maintenance standardization.
  • Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs and use CMMS data to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and optimize PM strategies.
  • Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team in CMMS use, work order management, and PM development.
