Job Details: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Position ranges from Maintenance Generalist 01 to Maintenance Generalist 08. Hourly rates range from $24.55 to $35.10. Position requires overtime and weekends. Salary offer is based on individual knowledge and experience. This facility operates six days a week and produces Corn Dogs. POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs • Perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs • Perform preventing maintenance • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure • Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift • Handle all mechanical problems that may arise in a fast-paced environment • Ensure work area is clean at all time • Record keeping and attention to detail Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to push, pull, and lift 20 pounds repeatedly during shift • Ability to push, pull and lift 75 pounds occasionally • Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day • Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from -20 to 100 degrees • Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping • Frequent overhead work • Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements • Must be able to work overtime and weekends • Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification • Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanic work experience or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program • Basic Electrical experience preferred External Applicants must upload a RESUME.
