Our client, a global pioneer and next-gen automotive products manufacturer, is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Manager to join its Kitchener, ON team. Solid hands-on maintenance & facilities team leadership experience is key.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical field
• 5-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing/process environment in maintenance
• 3 years’ managerial / supervisory experience
• Previous experience supervising maintenance teams
• Demonstrated project/management skills coupled with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a strong planner and well organized, able to handle conflicting priorities, experienced in managing contractors and technical staff.
• Excellent technical knowledge including applicable engineering principles and codes, safety and environmental requirements, and other related legislation.
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements and work procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
• Good computer skills (spreadsheets, CAD, etc.).
