Requirements You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to: · Ability to perform general maintenance and work on all machines and equipment · Perform mechanical repairs to all machines and equipment, e.g., alignment of machine spindles, slides, and ways. · Replacement of bearings, shafts, gears, etc. · Repair of a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic valves and controls, pressure regulators, pumps, tools, etc. · Assist in solving machine problems in production equipment, which may include the proficient operation of machines, incidental to troubleshooting those machines. · Adjust, align, patch, or replace drives, conveyors, etc. · Inspect and repair all hoists, cables, hooks, and shafts. · Perform all required preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on specified machinery and all manufacturing equipment. · Assists in the movement of machines/fixtures, materials, and equipment. · Fabricate components for new machines and installations. · Reads and understands schematics, diagrams, and specifications. · Works from blueprints, sketches, or duplication original parts. Occasionally makes parts without drawings. · Fabricate replacement parts which may require welding, cutting, or sheet metal work. · Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery commonly found in the maintenance department. · Operate precision measuring equipment with standard competence. · Ability to work in a team environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We need this seat to have: · Accredited Journeymen’s credentials in machine repair or millwright classifications or equivalent training and industrial experience. · 9 years of experience preferred but not limited to.
Responsibilities
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on all production machinery and equipment. They will also fabricate replacement parts and assist in the installation and movement of manufacturing equipment.
