This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage. Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. We are offering a $5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus is paid out in $2500 following completion of 90 days and $2500 at completion of 180 days. * *Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus. This position is a 6:00pm to 6:00am rotating schedule. Role Overview: This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. In this position you will: Perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting, removing, replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, and systems. Read & understand assignments. Communicate orally & in writing. Use basic knowledge of math, use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment. Be required to read drawings & schematics of hydraulic & basic electrical systems. Complete all required training for the job. Must have applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more. The Team Member will walk or stand on hard floors for 8-12 hour days. The Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facility The Team Member will work in a cold, damp to hot environment.
