We recover and recycle a number of rare and exotic metals such as Tantalum, Niobium, Molybdenum, Tungsten, Zirconium, Hafnium, Nickel, Titanium, Germanium, Indium, and their alloys. POSITION

Exotech is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic III to join our growing maintenance team. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a team-oriented professional with proven experience in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of manufacturing and factory equipment, both light and heavy duty.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring optimal operation of our equipment and facilities. This individual must bring technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively to support ongoing production needs. In addition, the Maintenance Mechanic III will help develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our operational efficiency.

Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location

• Compensation: The salary range is $28 to $30 per hour + Generous Bonus
• Benefits: Generous paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and shortterm disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and longterm disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary
• Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM 3:30 PM with flexibility
• Location: This is an inperson position at the facility in Pompano Beach, FL.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience required
• 5+ years of experience as an industrial mechanical maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems preferred, including basic troubleshooting and interface with control systems
• The ability to read electronic schematics test and troubleshoot problems on machines or in control panels, interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
• A demonstrated level of understanding that involves hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical dynamics is required
• Experience in metal fabrication with MIG and TIG welding process experience preferred
• The ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions, including drawings and OEM repair manuals and online resources is required
• The ability to work in a fastpaced working environment, be detailed oriented, and focused
• Must have problem solving skills, be analytical minded, and be a critical thinker
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English

• Perform preventive maintenance on light and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Create and close out work orders with data including, labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS Limble)
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and work to quickly resolve the problem to ensure the timely placement back into production
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment and using tools and equipment according to proper safety requirements
• Work from prints, schematics, diagrams, or general instructions to diagnose and repair equipment both electrical and mechanical
• Communicate effectively with vendors, leaders, fellow team members, and other employees
• Coordinate installation of new equipment and repair activity with other members of the maintenance team, production team, facilities team as well as outside subcontractors, as required
