Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and mechanically proficient Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our maintenance operations. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and offers an opportunity to work in a technically advanced, state-of-the-art facility, within a team and controlled environment.
We are looking for people who have industrial maintenance experience or someone who is mechanically inclined. Millwright qualifications would be a great but not required. We’re also open to looking at people in their apprenticeship.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Naturally mechanically inclined — you understand machinery intuitively and enjoy hands-on problem solving.
  • Strong experience working with CNC machinery, PLC’s, VFD, and Servo’s
  • Sound practical knowledge of industrial components such as fans, pumps, valves, compressors, motors, hoists, cylinders, and conveyor systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally across diverse teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and precision, particularly in machinery fine-tuning.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and safety best practices.
  • Must be able to commit to a night shift: Sun - Thurs: 10pm - 6:30am (Shift premium - $3.50)
    While a Red Seal Certification is not mandatory it is preferred with a minimum of two years of related industry experience; previous exposure to automated glass manufacturing is an asset.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to reliably commute to or be prepared to relocate to Langley, BC
  • Industrial maintenance experience of at least 2 years is preferred
  • Availability to support emergency situations or provide flexibility from time to time for shift coverage due to vacations or other operational reasons

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, adjust, repair and install industrial machinery and stationary equipment in accordance with layout plans utilizing proper SOP and SWP
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical faults and irregularities
  • Interpret technical diagrams and schematic drawings to determine appropriate maintenance procedures
  • Ensure the proper function of all safety mechanisms following equipment modifications or repairs
  • Conduct routine cleaning, lubrication, and servicing of mechanical systems
  • Participate actively in preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of all equipment
  • Prepare detailed maintenance documentation and reports
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally compliant workspace
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management
