REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of CMMS / with bonus of knowledge of the eMaint system
    a. Work order, tracking hours, & maintaining inventories
    b. Manage work order priorities throughout shift.
    c. Audit weekly work order completion.
    d. Available for off shift hours

e. Willingness to become a medical first responder.

  • Provide daily work schedule for maintenance staff.
  • Background in maintenance and repair of equipment (5 plus years of experience)
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and components (Any knowledge of these systems is a plus)

Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for scheduling maintenance with minimal interruption to production operations. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler serves as the liaison between Maintenance and other departments to determine the completion of planned maintenance work. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler works to ensure that Production team balance their need for daily output with their need for equipment reliability through proactive maintenance practices. Report all pertinent information back to the maintenance manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicating with production team leaders to align on work priorities
  • Provide support for production and engineering activities to ensure optimum results.
  • Investigate maintenance-related problems, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.
  • Assure compliance with proper safety, quality, and environmental requirements in work.
  • Train maintenance staff on the use of eMaint
  • Identify and kit the parts and tools necessary for jobs and store them in the appropriate area.
  • Schedule Shutdown PM activities to maximize work completed based on priority and available resources/time.
  • Create procedures/instructions on how to complete a job as needed.
  • Weekly reviews to celebrate successes, prioritize future work, and develop sustainable procedures.
  • Comfortable and confident to develop and lead meetings.
  • All other assigned tasks that are given.
  • Outside contractor scheduling.
