Maintenance Technician Farley, Iowa | On-Site Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift A well-established manufacturing company in Eastern Iowa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support first-shift operations. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently through troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Diagnose and repair motors, drives, controls, and wiring Support equipment setup, changeovers, and new equipment installation Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting as needed Maintain maintenance logs and work order records Identify and address hydraulic and coolant system issues Help manage spare parts inventory What We’re Looking For 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read schematics and test electrical systems Experience with motors, drives, and control systems Familiarity with PLCs is a plus Solid mechanical aptitude (pneumatics, pumps, conveyors, etc.) Ability to work independently with minimal direction while maintaining high attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment Must be able to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
