Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machines necessary in the manufacturing processes of the medical device industry. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure our variety of machines in our state-of-the-art machining center function properly through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting m, and repair when needed. This will include pm, troubleshooting, and repair of Haas CNC Mills, Swiss Lathes, laser etchers, wire edm, molding machines, and various other machines. Some building maintenance will also be required. When there is down time in maintenance, additional responsibilities may include set up and operation of CNC machines in the Swiss Lathe department, or other tasks as needed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): • Read manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment and controls. • Inspect non-operational equipment for damages and wear. • Troubleshooting mechanical problems. • Disassemble machinery and equipment for cleaning, maintenance, and repair. • Performs preventative and predictive maintenance as needed. • Replace worn or faulty components that are preventing optimum machine performance. • Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure proper functionality. • Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications. • Facility/Building maintenance as needed. • Assisting in the machining department by setting up and operating CNC machines. Qualifications & Skills: • Associate’s industrial maintenance degree or 2+ years on experience • Mechanical aptitude • Knowledge of basic electricity • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation. • Basic computer skills. • Strong communication skills. • Use of various types of tools.
Responsibilities
