Description
  Job-specific functions: * General Building Maintenance * Plumbing, Electrical, Cleaning, etc.  * Read and use technical manuals to understand equipment and controls when installing, replacing, or changing machine parts and attachments * Disassemble/reassemble machinery/equipment and inventory, requisition, organize, and maintain all parts, materials and supplies related to the normal operation of the equipment * Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components under the supervision of department supervisor and senior mechanic(s) and according to prescribed procedures and work instructions * Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and observe operation of machines to make sure that the machine is running smoothly * Record production, repair, and machine maintenance and preventative maintenance information * Adjust and calibrate production and facility equipment and machinery * Clean and lubricate machines, machine parts, or other equipment or infrastructure, according to specified procedures and work instructions Skills required: * Basic blueprint/schematic reading * Basic computer and time management skills * Material handling * HVAC basics * Lubrication systems * Disassembly/reassembly strategies * Custodial/housekeeping/organization * Quality/testing equipment and processes * OSHA compliance (Level 10) * Electrical/electronic basics * Machine and facility knowledge 7am-3pm
