Summary
We are looking for an “Industrial Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d)” for the “Handheld Optronics” unit at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.
The Wetzlar site develops and manufactures rifle scopes, target optics and optronic equipment such as residual light and thermal imaging clip-on systems as well as fire control systems for handheld weapons, but also unstabilized periscopes for armored vehicles and calibration technology for artillery.

Your Tasks

  • Pre- and final assembly of (mechanical) assemblies and devices
  • Cleaning, assembly, bonding and adjustment of optics
  • Soldering of components
  • Disassembly of repair equipment and repair of assemblies and devices
  • Carrying out final inspections and quality assurance
  • Selection of measuring and testing equipment for intermediate and final testing
  • Completion of test reports
  • Collaboration in the continuous improvement process

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or similar
  • Experience in the assembly of optical and/or mechanical devices advantageous
  • Professional experience in an assembly company advantageous
  • Knowledge of soldering and bonding
  • Good basic PC skills (SAP and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High willingness to learn and flexibility
  • Very good knowledge of German
