Summary
We are looking for an “Industrial Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician for IR Camera Systems (f/m/d)” for the “Production IR Cameras” department at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The “Optronical Sensors & Lasers” department produces thermal imaging and high-performance cameras as well as laser rangefinders for use in stationary and mobile applications. The sensors are used in the maritime sector as well as in land vehicles and also in airborne applications. These systems are used for reconnaissance and the protection of borders, objects and people.
The “Production IR Cameras” division processes the IR thermal imaging cameras from the creation of the optical beam path, through cabling and marriage, to full commissioning and final acceptance.

Your Tasks

• Checking orders for completeness and correctness, clarifying any discrepancies if necessary
• Independent assembly of subassemblies, main assemblies and end devices in accordance with the production documents
• Independent final assembly and adjustment of the entire device
• Cleaning optical surfaces and devices
• Carrying out bonding work
• Carrying out intermediate tests according to given specifications
• Checking the interaction of individual components and assemblies and carrying out readjustments
• Acceptance of finished devices
• Carrying out quality assurance and documenting the entire production and acceptance process
• Capacity and order planning in close coordination / cooperation with colleagues and the team leader

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic / mechatronics technician (f/m/d) or comparable vocational training
• Professional experience in the assembly of optical and / or mechanical devices
• Experience in working with SAP
• Knowledge of working with precision mechanical, electronic and optical parts and assemblies
• Knowledge of soldering, crimping and gluing
• Very good technical understanding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High willingness to learn and flexibility
• Strong performance and quality awareness
• Good knowledge of German and English
