Job Title: 433A Millwrights and Lead Hands (2nd & 3rd Year Apprentices)
Location: Various Job Sites.
Dynamic Millwrights is a full-service company located in Listowel, Ontario, with extensive expertise in agricultural, commercial, and industrial custom millwrighting and fabrication. We are looking to expand our team with dedicated professionals who value safety, precision, and teamwork.
Position Summary:
As an integral part of our road crew, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and mechanical systems. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. You will primarily work onsite at various customer locations, supporting a variety of industrial sectors, with some in-shop work as needed. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and experienced working in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and technical manuals to determine work procedures
  • Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair of machinery
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required for maintenance or set-up of machinery
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine and preventative maintenance work on machinery
  • Structural steel and equipment rigging and hoisting
  • Load/ Unload trucks and trailers
  • Assemble machinery, parts and equipment prior to installation
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Adhere to all company and site-specific health and safety policies and procedures; keep a clean and tidy jobsite
  • Provide on-site direction, hands-on support, and contribute to maintaining crew productivity
  • Assist with leading and coordinating field crews
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:
· Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) qualified (or working on C of Q)
· 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or field service
· CWB Certified considered an asset
· Additional certifications (WAH, forklift, telehandler, LOTO, AWP, Confined Space) are an asset
· Takes Initiative and Strong Problem solving/ trouble shooting abilities with strong mechanical aptitude
· Alert and aware of surroundings, including people, equipment, tools and machines
· Ability to work from and comprehend technical drawings and layout plans
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently

Working Conditions:

  • Must follow all OHSA, Company and site-specific health & safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity required
  • Frequently noisy working environment
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours and frequent overtime as required
  • Frequent climbing and working at heights

  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments year round
