JOB OPPORTUNITY

An industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stampings and assemblies has a career opportunity for an Industrial Millwright. The Industrial Millwright provides superior solutions to routine maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of robotic assemblies, automated stamping lines and transfer systems.

JOB SUMMARY

• Repair, rebuild and dismantle industrial equipment such as stamping presses, robotic weld cells and transfer equipment
• Routine troubleshooting of all plant equipment such as resistance and spot welders, stamping presses, uncoilers, and conveyors
• Work within a dynamic maintenance environment to continuously improve efficiencies throughout a variety automotive stamping and assembly processes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Red Seal certification or equivalent combination of technical courses and/or experience
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, auto industry experience is an asset
• SMAW and GMAW experience
• Ability to safely and proficiently operate all maintenance equipment required to complete job functions, including tool room equipment
• Experience with stamping press, robotic and automation repair
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective interpersonal skills and team mentality
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good organizational skills
