POSITION SUMMARY:

The focus of this position is preventative maintenance and repair of equipment at our facility. Qualified applicants will have maintenance experience in an industrial setting, and a basic understanding of electrical is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of millwright experience
• Experience in a feed manufacturing facility is an asset
• Good communication skills
• Capable of observing the operating environment and determining when subtle changes take place
• Strong analytical skills, able to problem solve issues with multiple causes
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Able to work to deadlines and support multiple demands
• Must be able to perform repeated climbing, crawling, kneeling, stooping, lifting and carrying
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects
• Must be able to see and hear well (either naturally or with correction)

• Meet regularly with direct supervisor
• Cooperatively participate with co-workers informally and formally on teams and committees
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive organizational, staff and customer issues
• Be familiar with and adhere to the policies, procedures and processes of WFS
• Positively represent WFS to our customers and the community
• Cooperate with other WFS departments to share information and make efficient use of resources
• Participate as a member of the WFS staff team and attend company meetings as appropriate
• Work in a safe manner at all times
