Description

Whitemud Resources Inc. is looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual who has a great work ethic and enjoys working in a team-focused environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will ensure the plant and equipment are kept in good condition and running efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • Welding experience would be an asset
  • Relevant licenses and certificates (welder, millwright, electrical) may be required
  • Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, would be advantageous
  • Repair work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Repair and/or partner with vendors on defective machine parts
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance on machinery
  • Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities
  • Applying mechanical repair principles and procedures to ensure machinery functions properly
  • Assembling and disassembling machinery using the appropriate tools
  • Performing diagnostic test on functioning machinery
  • Troubleshooting issues with machinery and equipment
  • Adjusting machinery when necessary to support a high-volume production environment
  • Operating various tools and equipment
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, including safety, and quality requirements
