Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the daily duties will consist of, but not limited to:

  • Follows and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy
  • Adhere to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safety policies & procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash and other safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy
  • Performs mechanical and hydraulic maintenance in all areas of the Plant including industrial equipment, mechanical and hydraulic power systems, mechanical drives, and the repair and installation of operations and maintenance equipment
  • Troubleshoots mechanical drives and manufacturing equipment.
  • Welds, cuts, and fabricates parts for equipment installations
  • Performs Preventive & Predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepares various reports and documents details of work performed based on company requirements
  • Ensure work orders are being updated and closed in SAP as work is getting completed and parts are removed from stock against the work orders
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) License
  • Trade or technical school diploma (Including Welding, Blueprint Reading, Hydraulics, and Mechanical Training)
  • Certified Welder in areas of Plate, 3G and other certifications preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment performing related work
  • Mechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirements.
  • Proficient comprehension of industrial equipment, repair, and plant operations
  • Detail orientated, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Display a positive attitude towards your work and maintain positive working relationship.
  • Ability to interface with computers and and efficient at problem solving.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights
