Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, tanks and production machines.
  • Observe equipment concerns and initiate corrective action/repair.
  • Install, commission and maintain test rig hydraulic systems and/or components.
  • Communicate with Supervisors, Operators, and incoming/outgoing mechanics to determine daily priorities.
  • Complete shift inspections, examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions, and complete work orders and parts requisitions.
  • Enhance equipment performance, recommend and implement improvements. Participate in Test Rig and Test Hydraulic design reviews. Understand and carry out preventive maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a technical college with Maintenance technician certification or equivalent.
  • 433A industrial millwright.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing Industry.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and machine tools (drills, mag drills, grinders, reciprocating saws, chop saws, band saws, lathes, and mills).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematics
  • Experience with fabrication and welding.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
