Position: Industrial Mover - Labourer
Location: Eagle West Crane & Rigging – Abbotsford

Eagle West Crane & Rigging a division of TNT Crane & Rigging Canada Inc. is now looking to hire a full time Industrial Mover - Labour, to join our Abbotsford team.

SUMMARY

You will be reporting to the Abbotsford Branch Manager. This position is responsible for:
· Moving heavy, complex machinery
· Competent knowledge of safe rigging practices and regulations
· Working in loud environments
· Ensuring site safety compliance
· Handling logistics of necessary crews and equipment
· Ability to think clearly, react quickly under pressure
· Communicates effectively with Customers, Supervisors, and Millwrights
· Complete any required safety documentation (FLHA; SWP, etc.)

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must possess:
· Minimum 2 years of industrial machine moving experience
· Class 1 driver license as asset
· Crane certification or experience working with cranes
· Millwright experience an asset
· Forklift Certified
· Boom lift and Scissor lift certification an asset
· Assist in Jack and Roll
· Move blocking
· Operate Chain Falls
· Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current
· Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
· Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
· Customer focused - respond promptly to customer needs
· Receptive to change - can adapt to changing circumstances
· Mechanically inclined
· Must be capable of heavy lifting and working in an industrial environment
· Must be available for evenings and weekends
· Willing to work out of town
