Other duties may be assigned.Maintain compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.Apply paint and other coatings to various surfaces, including preparing parts by cleaning, sanding, and repairing defects as needed.Inspect parts for quality, including weld integrity, surface imperfections, and overall finish.Mix paints to match specified colors and operate equipment such as paint sprayers, sanders, and sandblasters.Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.Maintain a clean work area and ensure good housekeeping practices.Assist in other departments as temporarily assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or trainingPrior painting experience preferredAbility to maintain tools, equipment, and work areaSkill in distinguishing quality paint jobsCommitment to efficiency, quality, and safety standardsAdditional InformationBekum America Corporation offers a total compensation package that emphasizes the health and wellbeing of our diverse workforce, and encourages work-life balance.
