Job role overview: Preparation and review of Homologation documents supporting key overseas markets. Support for testing, interpretation of results and analysis of regulations. This role is an Industrial Placement reporting to the Homologation Engineer.

HOMOLOGATION ENGINEER REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineer related degree, accredited with the IMechE and meets the academic requirements of a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
  • Maths and English GCSE grade 6/B or above.
  • Computer literate - must be proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Able to analyse and simplify complex problems and explain complex technical solutions to non-technical customers.
  • Self-motivated and resilient. Flexible and adaptable.
    Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 39hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • The placement will help to ensure information documents and drawings are accurate and are in line with regulatory requirements supporting key overseas markets.
  • Responding to questions from overseas markets on test results
  • Assist with the effective type approval test programs for new models, model updates and running changes, all in line with the company key dates.
  • Working with other areas of the business to provide data and information to support local applications for approval.
  • To liaise with other Triumph Departments and external suppliers.
