To support our existing business and enable future growth we are seeking an Industrial Placement student to join our Rapid Prototype Engineering team on a 12-month placement commencing in Sept 26. What you will do: To gain an underlying knowledge of business processes and the product lifecycle Learn and apply the technology used in our inertial products Research and understanding how our current gyroscopes and accelerometers work Support the design, development and testing of pre-production products Produce documentation as directed Configure new hardware designs Build prototype electronic circuits Present new designs and ideas to design authorities Qualifications we prefer: Self-motivated, diligent and excited by STEM subjects You will be studying Engineering, Mathematics or another closely related discipline at University and expect to graduate in 2028 A keen interest in product development within military or civil aerospace Competent in technical report writing and presentations A team player and effective communicator Able to multi-task and prioritise own work What We Offer: In return we offer a benefits package which includes a competitive base salary as well as 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
