Pharmaron is looking for the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists so if you love analytical chemistry and want to use it in pharmaceutical research and development, Pharmaron is the place for you. We have a number of 12-month placements in our Analytical Chemistry department, starting in summer 2026:
As part of our dynamic and collaborative AC team, you will work alongside other chemistry experts and science partners to provide innovative analytical solutions that help advance our clients’ programmes and bring new medicines to the market. During your 12-month placement, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply a wide range of modern analytical techniques (including HPLC, GC, SFC, NMR, Mass Spec and Materials Solid State Analysis) through various stages of pharmaceutical development. You will also develop and validate new analytical methods for testing and characterising different types of materials, from raw ingredients to final products. Whether it’s polymorph screening, crystallisation optimisation or pre-formulation development, you will be able to use your knowledge and skills to contribute to exciting R&D projects and make an impact on human health.
