Industrial Production Managers - Contract Project length : ~3–4 weeks Commitment : ≥ 10 hrs / week Compensation : $72 – $190 per hour Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates About the project Fixpoint is hiring Industrial Production Managers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Industrial Production Managers. You're a good fit if you have experience with: Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality. Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations. Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Hire, train, evaluate, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances. or have similar experience. Must-have qualifications Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Manufacturing. Native-level English skills U.S. residency Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). Compensation & logistics Hourly pay: $72 – $190, commensurate with experience and project fit. Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
