Job Details Job Location: Platte - Platte City, MO Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly Description Position Title: Powder Coating/Industrial Production Painter Reporting to: Production Manager Department: Manufacturing Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. We are looking for a Powder Coating/Industrial Production Painter to help support that mission. Due to invisible electromagnetic fields associated with equipment used, any carrier of a pacemaker must avoid this particular work area. RESPONSIBILITIES • Hand spraying parts with liquid or powder coating processes • Cleaning and prepping parts prior to painting • Working in Powder or Blasting Booths for extended periods of time • Ensure compliance with company policies • Perform physical activities including lifting 50 pound boxes • Maintain safe workplace and ensure that safety is the highest priority • Performs other duties as required • Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use Benefits • Competitive Pay • Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance • 401k with company match • Paid Time Off • Training & Professional Development • Positive and productive work environment Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma • Experience as a Powder Coater preferred • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including lifting 50+ pounds • Must be able to work well with other employees and communicate effectively WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
