About The Role
In this role, you will primarily engage with our corporate, transport, and telecommunications divisions. You will be supported by a collaborative and approachable team within a dynamic work environment, that also values times of celebration and having a few laughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio across multiple business units.
  • Lead and manage enterprise bargaining negotiations.
  • Support in the strategic bargaining space through the creation of benchmarking, trend assessment and comparative analysis.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the business with compliance matters.
  • Assist with workplace investigations and the reviewing of reports and outcome letters.
  • Maintain appropriate record keeping in relation to all interactions with team members and leaders, and case management activities.
  • Be an escalation point for complex cases and manage all workplace litigation within your portfolio.
  • Assist with regular updated and briefings on changes in the Law.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of human resource and industrial relations frameworks, legislation, policy, and practice.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law.
  • Previous experience in a similar role providing ER and IR advice to team members and leaders, with demonstrated knowledge of employment-related legislation, industrial instruments, and Modern Awards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in interpreting industrial instruments (enterprise agreements and awards), HR policies and legislation, and providing advice to team members and leaders regarding outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with good ability to work with excel spreadsheets and data.
  • Great time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.
  • IR experience in a blue-collar workforce will be viewed favourably.
