We specialize in industrial chemical solutions across several sectors, including metal lubrication, water and wastewater treatment, hygiene, dairy, and institutional markets.
About The Role:
As a key member of our sales team, the Industrial Sales & Service Representative is responsible for supporting existing customers and developing new business opportunities within the GTA region. Reporting to and receiving training from the Sales Manager, this role involves servicing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with our technical and operations teams to deliver value-added solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or chemical sales support is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to rapidly acquire product knowledge and communicate key value propositions to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse customer groups and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • High level of flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving capability.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory (GTA).

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective industrial laundry customers to drive sales and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Promote products and services to existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand usage.
  • Conduct sales calls and presentations tailored to customer needs, including the preparation of proposals and reports that highlight product benefits.
  • Gather relevant process and operational information during customer visits to inform product recommendations.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to provide accurate and effective solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build strong relationships with new accounts and expand contact networks within existing accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, adapting communication style as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of sales activities, meetings, and customer interactions in the required format.
  • Capture and relay customer feedback and quality improvement suggestions to relevant internal teams.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and activity reports (weekly/monthly) to support business planning and performance tracking.
