Western Noise Control Ltd., has been providing quality noise solutions since 1974. We offer practical noise containment and control solutions for educational, recreational, commercial and industrial facilities such as schools, arenas, gymnasiums, refineries, offices, swimming pools and auditoriums.
Our company serves the architectural and industrial communities across Canada. We specialize in the design, fabrication and installation of noise containment and control systems to reduce excessive noise in industrial, commercial and institutional spaces. We provide initial product recommendations and custom design/supply/install systems for new construction and retrofit projects. We work closely with Architects, Acoustical Engineers, General Contractors, and the client to provide the most cost-effective solution.
We are currently looking for an Industrial Seamster/Seamstress (Machine Operator) & Acoustic Wrapper who is motivated and wanting to grow with our company.

Job responsibilities:

  • Operate single needle lock stitch sewing machine JUKI (would be an asset)
  • Must be extremely accurate at cutting and sewing
  • Previous industrial sewing experience an asset
  • Experience working with fibreglass
  • Experience working with light-medium weight fabric
  • Wrapping panels
  • Other requirements:
  • Able to speak, write and read English
  • Exposure to dust and fibre
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent time management skills, including punctuality
  • PPE required, coveralls, gloves, mask and hearing protection
