The Western Australian Police Union of Workers (WAPU) is expanding its Industrial Team seeking a dedicated Industrial Officer and Senior Industrial Officer to play pivotal roles in advocating for the rights and interests of police officers throughout WA. You will provide industrial relations advice, represent members in disputes, negotiate workplace agreements and ensure compliance with relevant industrial laws and regulations, working closely with the union leadership. The Senior Industrial Officer will additionally represent WAPU within the WA Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) and the WA Industrial Magistrates Court (WAIMC) and collaborate on negotiating WA Police Industrial Agreements to secure the best possible outcomes for members.

Covering the portfolios of; Legal, Industrial Relations, WHS, Welfare, Media, Internal Advocacy, Research, Administration and Member Services, WAPU plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring the well-being of its constituents. WAPU is registered with the WA Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) and affiliated with the Police Federation of Australia (PFA).
