Industrial Service Technician

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Industrial Service Technician to join our team. In this role you will be an integral part of a service crew delivering onsite installation, service, and repairs to industrial air filtration systems.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work with a team of Service Technicians delivering superior quality installations, maintenance and repairs of industrial air filtration systems.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Become adept at working with hand tools, power tools and mobile equipment.
• Complete work orders, hazard assessments and other written documents according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area.
• Accommodate evening and weekend work as required.
• Safely operate a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with an ability to think critically and creatively to solve technical problems.
• A high level of physical fitness as this role requires long periods of standing, climbing, crawling, lifting and material handling.
• Ability to work in varied conditions including dusty environments, weather extremes, confined spaces, heights, vibration, and noise.
• Excellent communication skills and proven interpersonal abilities.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license complete with a clean driving record.
• Technical knowledge of process and plant equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude with a desire to work as part of team.
• All applicants will be subjected to a Pre-Employment/Pre-Access security background check.
• Confined Space, Fall Protection, WHMIS, CSTS and /or First Aid Certification will be considered an asset
• Prior experience driving large vehicles with trailers will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
