We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Industrial Services Business Development Manager for the Yorkshire region from the Hull Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying new business opportunities and managing all technical planning for the jobs to ensure work is carried out safely and to customer specifications.
The role involves developing sales plans for the commercial growth of the business, growing existing accounts whilst creating new sales leads and generating new business sales in line with agreed profit margins. It also includes Customer Relationship Management with the expectation that avenues to grow business will be explored and that you will actively monitor competitors. You will also be expected to produce monthly reports. The role is full time, 40 hours per week.
To apply for the role of Business Development Manager, you must have a proven track record of at least 3 years in sales/business development within the Industrial services / hard to handle waste sector, a full driving licence and a high level of communication, negotiating and IT skills. You must have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and market trends as well as knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001. Previous Project Management experience would be beneficial and NEBOSH or IOSH certification would be highly desirable.
We are looking for an individual who has good customer service skills, is proactive and self-motivated, can work under strict deadlines and pressures but also someone who can lead by example.
