Position Summary The Industrial Services Technician, is responsible but not limited to the installation of temporary materials at customer job sites, ensuring proper setup and support of High Velocity Oil Flushing equipment. This role involves actively monitoring equipment performance and safely delivering services using Conco’s proprietary cleaning technology. The technician will play a key role in providing effective and efficient service, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and operational standards. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Install, inspect, service, and monitor Conco Customized cleaning equipment to deliver a clean system to the customer. Conduct preventive maintenance, including oil filter changes, flushing screen inspections, system flushes, and equipment monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in oil delivery systems, including piping, storage tanks, and control systems. Test system performance using diagnostic equipment and making necessary adjustments for efficiency and safety. Maintain detailed service records, equipment logs, and maintenance reports. Interpret P&ID’s, schematics, and technical manuals. Monitor system performance data and provide recommendations for system cleanliness. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA, NFPA). Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as needed. Communicate effectively with Project Managers, plant operators, and other technicians. Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals. Safety-focused mindset and adherence to PPE requirements. Participate in team safety meetings and cross-functional planning sessions. Online/remote safety training as required. Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational certification in mechanical, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred. 2–4 years of experience in Oil Flushing systems or related field. Knowledge of industrial lubrication systems, oil pumps, and hydraulic equipment. Familiarity with PLCs and automated system controls is a plus. Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for some positions. Strong mechanical and analytical skills. OSHA 10/30-hour certification preferred NORA (National Oil heat Research Alliance) or equivalent certification preferred HAZMAT and TWIC certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day) Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs. (occasionally heavier with assistance) Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery safely Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks, such as wiring, assembling, or troubleshooting equipment Driving for extended periods to custom sites, sometimes in remote locations Working in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces, attics, or utility areas Be aware of and adhere to safety protocols (up to 95% travel) Work Environment The work environment includes, but is not limited to, refineries, power plants, and general manufacturing facilities. The role requires working in proximity to operating equipment and within active construction sites. Safety is a top priority, with rigorous training protocols and PPE including hard hats, gloves, and high-visibility clothing provided to mitigate risks. This role may involve working outdoors in varied weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold weather. Employees will spend time traveling between job sites.
