JOB OVERVIEW

Roger Lewis has been crafting beautiful furniture for over 30 years. We design and manufacture high quality made to order furniture for the hospitality and contract industry.
Due to expansion we are looking for a skilled sewing machinist with experience in both cutting and sewing within the furniture or manufacturing industry.

Experience:

• Sewing: 1 year (required

• Sewing upholstery fabrics and textiles for a range of furniture
• Fabric cutting on a CNC cutting machine (full training provided)
• Maintaining high standards set by Roger Lewis
• Reporting quality issues
• Working with team leaders and engineering to resolve quality issue
  You will have a flexible approach and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will be a great communicator and work well as part of a team. You will have previous experience working as a Furniture or Manufacturing Sewer (using industrial sewing machine) and have the ability to maintain and drive quality standards.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
  Pay: £28,000.00 per year
