We’re looking for an experienced industrial sewing machinist to start immediately. If you’re confident with heavy-duty textiles like PVC, thick canvas, or polyester – this could be the perfect opportunity.

NECESSARY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE INCLUDE :

• Confident operation of industrial single/twin needle flat-bed sewing machines
• Setting up and maintaining machines without assistance
• Working with heavy-duty fabrics (e.g. 600gsm PVC)
• Maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy
• Working independently and as part of a small team
• Experience working with welders
• Ability to work in cm, mm and inches, with the ability to cut out from drawings or/and measurements

If you have experience in cover/marquee manufacturing, or with high frequency welders, triad welders, eyeletting machines, or binders, we’d love to hear from you – we can offer enhanced pay for the right person.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

You’ll be working on a wide range of custom projects, so no two days will be the same. We produce everything from custom waterproof side panels (for marquees and structures) to bespoke heavy duty outdoor furniture covers. You will be manufacturing via use of HF welders or/and our industrial sewing machines, as well as creating patterns, and cutting out.
