Adecco is currently seeking a results-driven Industrial Site Manager to join our client’s team in Sarnia, ON for a temporary-to-possibly permanent opportunity. This role requires strong leadership to guide onsite teams, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure site safety, quality, and efficiency. Ideal for experienced leaders seeking a hands-on role with potential for long-term employment.

  • Pay rate: $40-$45/hour.
  • Location: Sarnia, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary to possibly permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the onsite team to ensure engagement, motivation, and high performance
  • Oversee daily production operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, gather suggestions, and solve challenges
  • Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional departments (HR, Accounting, etc.)
  • Spend at least 80% of your time on the shop floor managing operations
  • Handle staff schedules, productivity tracking, and HR reporting
  • Manage onboarding processes and temporary staffing agency coordination
  • Facilitate training with HR and perform preliminary safety inspections
  • Support a positive workplace culture and successfully onboard new employees
  • Organize production schedules based on demand
  • Oversee inventory and communicate material needs to purchase
  • Supervise equipment maintenance and support waste management coordination
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Monitor and share production-related reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial operations, site or production management
  • Experience leading large teams and overseeing daily production and operational logistics
  • Familiarity with industrial processes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and project management tools
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on performance optimization
  • Ability to work on-site daily in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
