Contract: 12‑month Student Placement Start Date: September 2026 Salary: Grade B £25,599 About the Opportunity We are offering an exciting paid placement for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our Corporate Assets Dept for a 12‑month industry placement. Joining Merseyside Police means making a real difference—every day, in every role.   What You’ll Be Doing As a Student Placement within Corporate Assets, you will support the team with a range of tasks, which may include:  * Assessment of works completed by the contractor, ensuring correct application of pre-approved costs * Quality Assurance of submitted paperwork and reports from the contractor, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements * Monitor performance of the contractor through use of set Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) * Assist with management of the department’s facilities helpdesk, resolving building maintenance issues Your work will contribute directly to the department’s objectives and provide valuable real‑world experience.
