What You’ll Be Doing As a Student Placement within Finance Department, you will support the team with a range of tasks, which may include: * Assisting with data analysis and the preparation of reports * Supporting the review of financial transactions and processes to identify any issues or areas requiring attention * Assisting in the production of Finance reports for use across the force * Providing analysis and presentations to deliver clear and meaningful information to stakeholders * Providing support across a range of departmental activities, including Finance Business Partnering, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, and Statutory Financial Reporting, to gain broad experience and understanding of the finance function * Contributing to the enhancement of departmental processes, systems, and tools to support the continuous improvement of service delivery * Are currently studying for a degree in a relevant subject areas: * Accounting * Finance & Financial Management * Economics * Business Analytics * Risk Management * Audit & Compliance * Mathematics / Applied Mathematics * Investment & Financial Modelling * Management Accounting Your work will contribute directly to the department’s objectives and provide valuable real‑world experience. Responsibilities
