The Industrial Supply Chain Manager will lead and manage the Supply Chain as part of the Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC). They guarantee the ICC contractual commitments are met as well as Customer satisfaction, with a particular focus on manufacturing and treating the APRUs as internal customers.The Industrial Supply Chain Manager in the ICC is actively involved in the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP).   • Participate in defining and promoting the vision of the ICC
  • Contribute to the Industrial Plan (IP) with the business lines and to develop the Production Plan (PP) and/or Repair Plan (RP); play the role of S&OP facilitator and participate in demand and supply reviews as well as S&O readiness meetings
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the supply chain (resources, means & investment): Planning, Tactical purchasing (with Procurement), Warehousing and Logistics
  • Ensure the efficiency of physical flows and flows of related information in terms of external/internal input/output in accordance with the Industrial Plan
  • Support end-to-end implementation of the Lean process
  • Plan all needs including replacements and repairs in the Procurement and Production/Repair Plan by drawing on the entity’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Ensure that inventory levels are appropriate and contribute to continuous improvement in the functional area to reduce Work In Progress (WIP), inventories and lead time in accordance with customer requirements
  • Manage the entity’s relations with other Thales sites, end customers, procurement, Sales Administration operations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, specifically regarding on-time delivery (OTD) to the customer, to monitor and initiate corrective action when necessary.
  • Define and upgrade the supply chain architecture
  • Ensure that the necessary input data from the supply chain is available to calculate volumes for the Multi Year Budget (MYB) prepared by Operations
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory environment for incoming and outgoing flows
  • Contribute to the optimal deployment, maintenance and improvement of industrial tools and processes and ensure the use of best practices in planning and execution.

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCETo be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

  • Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS): Certified in Planning & Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification at a minimum (or the equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Production and Repair processes
  • Knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes
  • Knowledge of industrial management control and the MYB process
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain professions
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory management and flow management
  • methodologies
  • Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Gemba Walks, Compass Room, Plan, Do Check Act (PDCA))
  • Practice of analytical and problem-solving techniques (PDCA)
