QUALIFICATIONS

• Vocational training as an industrial mechanic (at least vocational training) or mechatronics technician (at least vocational training) or a comparable qualification (at least vocational training)
• Professional experience in the assembly of optical and/or mechanical devices
• Knowledge of working with precision mechanical, electronic, and optical parts and assemblies
• Other qualifications: Soldering and gluing skills, very good technical understanding
• IT: MS Office (at least knowledge of detailed functions), SAP (at least knowledge of detailed functions)

For our Oberkochen location, we are seeking an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) / Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d) in the Components Production department (Laser Distance Measuring Devices) to start as soon as possible.
This department manufactures laser distance measuring devices for air, land, and sea systems. This includes the assembly, adjustment, and acceptance of the corresponding devices.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Checking orders for completeness and accuracy, clarifying any discrepancies if necessary
• Independent assembly of complex sub- and main assemblies according to the production documents
• Independent final assembly and adjustment of the entire device
• Cleaning optical surfaces and devices
• Wiring, soldering, and gluing work
• Conducting intermediate tests according to specified specifications, testing the interaction of individual
• components and assemblies, and performing readjustments
• Acceptance of finished devices
• Capacity and order planning in close coordination/collaboration with colleagues and the team leader
• Implementing quality assurance and documenting the entire production and acceptance process
• Collaboration with development, design, and project management on technical issues
