The Role: Application Design Engineer (ADE) in Japan We are looking for an experienced Application Design Engineer (ADE) to accelerate Industrial Automation which support Industrial customers business with Digitalization. We are looking for people with the right mix of talent and agile - with proven self-professional technical skills, strong analytical, communication skills, and individuals with the ability to work in a team setting are strongly encouraged to apply. What will you do? As a pre-sales, ADE should support machine solution for Industry ,especially for machine OEMs. Collaborate with sales org & machine integration partners Solution Approach with not only hardware components but also wide range solution (Drive, linear motion, robotics, control software etc) Working closely with stakeholders such as Sales and execution team to attack in region and other BU to win deals and to build relationships with customers Reporting to Sales Engineering Manager Who would be successful? 5+ years’ machine solution (mainly motion drive) technical engineer experience Agile with trial and error Demonstrates leadership ability Nice to have DX approach for Industry Strong communication skills both oral and written in English and Japanese Aligns company strategy and enables results through others Interpersonal skills and ability to influence others Proficient computer skills with Microsoft office applications Work cross-functionally and manage day to day activities Personal qualities such as: self driven, autonomous, influential, perseverance, reliable, direct, curious and creative Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Native/Business level of Japanese language is MUST. English language skill will be a plus.
