Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate a program of activities to develop deep understanding of Australian Industry Capability relative to the capabilities required for sovereign manufacturing of guided weapons
  • Partner with suppliers and subject matter experts to evaluate capabilities, production requirements, and supply dependencies
  • Collaborate with suppliers to understand economic order quantities and other dependencies that would be enablers for capability establishment
  • Contribute to GWEO Industry Development strategies and plans
  • Lead incubation, uplift, and demonstrator initiatives to accelerate industry readiness
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, the Commonwealth, and wider industry stakeholders
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cross-industry collaborations to expand sovereign capabilities
  • Prepare high quality business cases, capability reports and other material to support industry investment decisions
