At PwC Australia, your role will be responsible for supporting the Industry Leader to deliver on key industry agendas, drive market growth across our priority clients and activate a thriving Industry community. As an Industry Driver, you’ll lead the development and execution of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for industry and priority sectors and be a key part of the Clients and Markets (C&M) team who act as a catalyst for growth, driving success through exceptional client experiences and strategic market positioning.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive agreed industry priorities each quarter to facilitate the growth of accounts within the industry/sector
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the industry to front run current and future revenue sources and solutions
  • Work closely with the Industry leader to identify key market opportunities and design and activate growth strategies by proactively leveraging market trends, client demand data and the firm’s competitive strengths
  • Collaborate across Lines of Service (x-LoS) to build relevant business cases and create and position compelling propositions that generate demand and conversion opportunities
  • Partner with the broader C&M capabilities to execute on end-to-end GTM activations
  • Work with priority account teams and market segments to identify target buyers and influencers by industry, sector, and priority accounts while ensuring sales disciplines are embedded and market activation is enabled
  • Activate the industry community to build momentum and enable a broader and coordinated approach to market
  • Drive the target-setting process for accounts within the industry and sector. Understand account performance and provide industry-specific insights
  • Leadership of planning, executing, and monitoring initiatives to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
  • Embed sales discipline and promote the use of Salesforce to maintain correct data, including insights and analysis
  • Assist in the implementation of client feedback and account plans
  • Support large-scale pursuits and transitions

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience having worked in professional services industry or similar complexity
  • Experience in Technology, Media, Telecommunication or Health sectors is preferred
  • Experience in business development, and understanding of the respective industry
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and activating growth strategies and ability to identify opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Action-Oriented, takes initiative, is resilient, a problem solver and thrives in driving conversations to successful outcomes
  • Experience with pipeline reporting, Salesforce, and other business development and project management tools
  • A strong project manager, highly organised, who is highly collaborative, builds relationships, with the ability to deliver on multiple streams of activity
  • High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to continuous learning and development to contribute to the firm’s best practice events
