The Role: Product Application Engineer（PAE）, Industrial Automation in Japan We are looking for a presales person to provide technical support to our industrial customers in their digitalization of their business with our products. We are looking for people with the right mix of talent and agile - with proven self-professional technical skills, strong analytical, communication skills, and individuals with the ability to work in a team setting are strongly encouraged to apply. What will you do? As pre-sales, PAE provides technical support to the industry in general. Solution-oriented approach using not only hardware components but also operational and information technologies Working closely with stakeholders such as Sales and execution team to attack in region and other BU to win deals and to build relationships with customers Reporting to Sales Engineering Manager Location: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, or Hiroshima Who would be successful? Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 5+ years’ machine solution technical engineer experience Agile with trial and error Demonstrates leadership ability Nice to have DX approach for Industry Strong communication skills both oral and written in English and Japanese Aligns company strategy and enables results through others Interpersonal skills and ability to influence others Proficient computer skills with Microsoft office applications Work cross-functionally and manage day to day activities Personal qualities such as: self driven, autonomous, influential, perseverance, reliable, direct, curious and creative Native level Japanese Location: Tokyo, Nagoya, or Osaka
