QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum IT License to Practice (Required)
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Criminal Record Check
  • 3 references (minimum)
  • Immunization record
  • Must be comfortable and fluent in English - written and spoken.
  • able to work with minimum supervision and able to implement quality age appropriate program
  • Must be a team player and have confident leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the Ladybird philosophy and curriculum to plan, implement and supervise age-appropriate activities
  • Daily set-up and clean-up
  • Provide clear & caring supervision to children
  • Consider the individual needs and goals of each child and respond accordingly
  • Ensure the health and safety of the children
  • Work as part of the team, which includes children, families enrolled, and teachers using the philosophy of the center
  • Works in conjunction with the Manager and the Administrator to ensure the needs of the classroom are met. This includes the children and the staff.
  • Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development days
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
  • Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families
