Your main job responsibility is to develop and plan early childhood programmes for the children in the centre:

• Responsible for implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children
• Complete lesson evaluations/reflection
• Communicate with families on their child’s progress and development
• Maintain proper children’s record & prepare child’s portfolio for Parent Teacher Conference (PTC)
• Maintain record keeping for centre’s operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring.
• Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings
• Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties.
• Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
• Preferably have at least 1-2 years’ infant care experience in a pre-school setting
• Demonstrate good communication skills
• Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices
• Possess classroom management skills and able to handle children’s temperaments
• Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons
