GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year. • AdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a recognized leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and leading-edge research – caring for Tampa Bay’s hearts for over 35 years. • The Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more – contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrow’s cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.” The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for performing infant hearing screenings on all newborns according to the guidelines of the Universal Hearing Screening program. This role actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role ensures accurate and efficient screening procedures. The value you’ll bring to the team: • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of all procedures performed. • Performs infant hearing screenings and accurately report results to the Hearing Screen Coordinator. • Practices principles of employee and patient safety during daily activities. • Adjusts work hours to assist at other locations as needed. • Participates in practice changes and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department. • Communicates effectively with patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. • Charges patients accurately for services. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: • High School Grad or Equiv Required • 0+ Work Experience Required • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
