Position Overview We are seeking a warm, patient, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our Hell’s Kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for supporting the earliest stages of development and understands how critical relationships, routines, and responsive caregiving are during infancy. Responsibilities Lead the infant classroom with gentleness, structure, and attentiveness. Implement age-appropriate activities focused on sensory exploration, communication, bonding, and motor development. Provide responsive, consistent care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and individualized routines. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and updates. Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure smooth transitions and classroom consistency. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all New York State and center policies. Qualifications BA or AA in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or 5+ years of professional experience with infants/toddlers plus a high school diploma. Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants or young children preferred. Strong understanding of early childhood development and responsive caregiving. Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
