Join our dedicated team in nurturing the growth and development of Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler program. We are passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment for young learners, and we’re looking for a skilled Early Childhood Educator to make a positive impact!

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re seeking a motivated and qualified candidate who holds an ECEIT license from British Columbia. If you have experience working with Early age children, a valid First Aid certificate, and strong communication skills in English, we want to hear from you!

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Infant and Toddler ECE license to practice. Must have an Infant and Toddler certificate and license.
  • 3 to 5 years full time in IT Room team leader/management experience.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Speaks English, Reads English, and Writes English (Mandarin or Cantonese are an asset).
  • Roles and Responsibilities as an Infant and Toddler Room Leader:
  • Foster a passion for learning in children.
  • Approach a child’s early learning years with enthusiasm and dedication.
  • Ensure children enjoy their day, whether they are playing or learning.
  • Prepare children both academically and socially for school.
  • Encourage and support each child’s growth.
  • Build strong bonds with children, providing a nurturing and stable environment.
  • Promote individuality and boost each child’s self-esteem.
  • Support both parents and children in the learning process.
  • Encourage the development of meaningful friendships among children, parents, and staff.
  • Help parents actively participate in their child’s education.
  • Lead children in activities focused on learning, play, skill development, teamwork, and more.
  • Observe children for signs of learning or behavioral challenges and prepare appropriate reports.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
